Delivery Policy

At our little family bookshop, every parcel is packed with care — think of it as sending a story off to meet its new reader. Below you’ll find all the details about how we ship your books to you.

Processing Time

We usually pack and dispatch your order within 1 working day. Orders placed over the weekend or on UK bank holidays will be sent out on the next working day.

UK Shipping

Standard Delivery (Royal Mail 2nd Class) – 1–3 working days — £2.95 or Free for orders over £20.

We’ll send you a confirmation email once your order is on its way. Delivery times are estimates and may take a little longer during busy periods like Christmas or during postal strikes.

International Shipping

At the moment we are not shipping outside of the UK, but if you would be interested please email us at contact@cosmotales.co.uk, as we are constantly growing our business.

Packaging

We use our customised, book-friendly packaging to protect your order in transit. Wherever possible, we choose recyclable or biodegradable materials because we believe good stories shouldn’t harm the planet.

Delays & Lost Parcels

If your parcel hasn’t arrived within the expected timeframe, please drop us a note at contact@cosmotales.co.uk. We’ll investigate with the courier and do our best to put things right.
